New York couple Chad Kies and Jenna Finch came to the west coast and Cannon Beach for vacation (so she thought). Chad surprised Jenna with a proposal and a ring at Ecola State Park. Chad being the thoughtful guy he is, hired myself and my associate photographer to capture the moment from a discrete location so Jenna wouldn’t be aware she was being photographed until after the proposal. When I photograph proposals, I always get chills watching the moment unfold. We did some sweet portraits after. Their sweet story featured in the 2014 Bridal Planner.
